Joanne Francis, Tetlit Gwich’in bead artist from Fort McPherson, Northwest Territories, and she enjoys making hand-crafted jewellery such as earrings, head bands and card holders. Joanne was taught beading at a young age and creates classic and modern examples of traditional forms of Gwich’in beaded art.
