Joanne, originally from Paulatuk, grew up beading with her mother Lily Ann Green and taught her how to bead in many styles. Joanne came upon beading again when her family could not travel out of Nova Scotia last year and her children are currently living with her parents. Joanne has found it hard to be apart from her family but loves looking forward to hearing from them everyday.
Joanne enjoys beading and sewing more than anything else right now, since she makes her own patterns. Joanne is grateful to everyone for ideas and especially her mother Lily-Ann for teaching her how to bead in many styles.
