Maidie-Anne was born in Ottawa and grew up in BC. Later she moved to Yellowknife and then onto Inuvik where her family have been ever since.
Maidie-Anne is a self taught artist that loves to work with a variety of different mediums, she is often known for her acrylic paintings and stained glass designs. Maidie-Anne would not be able to pick a favourite medium, as she usually works with what is inspiring her in the moment.
